NOTICE: Problem with SE2024 Update 02, Build 003
It has come to our attention that on the first day that Solid Edge 2024 Update 002 was released, the incorrect build (003) was posted to the Siemens Download Center instead of the correct build of Update 002 which is build 004.
The incorrect build was the copy that was downloaded and posted to the Prolim OneDrive, and Prolim was only made aware of this and immediately replaced the incorrect file with the correct file at 8:30am on the 9th Feb 2024. Please be aware that Solid Edge Version 2024.00.02 Build 003 has an issue where 3D PDF's are created incorrectly, resulting in a static image of a part, not an interactive 3D PDF as expected. Assembly files translate correctly.
To correct this issue, please simply delete your current
Solid_Edge_MSI_Update_002.exe and redownload Update 002 from the Siemens Download Center here:
Solid Edge 2024 (v2310) Updates (siemens.com), or the updated file on the Prolim OneDrive here: Solid_Edge_MSI_Update_0002.exe (build 004), then run this newly downloaded Update_002 with the "Run as Administrator" to ensure it installs correctly.
